Real animatronic performers — the kind that run theme-park shows, museum guides, and theatrical robots — are built from independent servo channels playing back a stored motion timeline, not from live control. This 2D version drives the same three-channel rig — neck pan, jaw, and eyebrows — from a top-down dial and front-view face, and lays the underlying angle/velocity/acceleration curves out on live strip charts so you can see exactly why a minimum-jerk S-curve reads as lifelike while a linear interpolation looks robotic, and how a trapezoidal profile's velocity kinks depend on its ramp fraction.
