Every cleaning robot has to solve the same problem before it can vacuum a single square metre: which route covers the whole floor without wasting battery re-cleaning the same patch twice? This top-down 2D simulator drops a robot vacuum into a furnished room and lets you compare the two dominant real-world strategies — the systematic boustrophedon "lawnmower" sweep used by modern LIDAR-mapped robots, and the memoryless random-bounce wandering of early bump-sensor-only models — including a side-by-side race mode that measures, in simulated seconds, exactly how much faster a mapped sweep clears the floor than blind wandering. Live readouts track floor coverage percentage, distance travelled and elapsed time, furniture is placeable by hand, and every obstacle is excluded from the coverable area exactly as a real robot's no-go cells would be.
