🧪 Invisibility Field (2D): Cloaking & Radar Detection Sweep
2D canvas cloaking lab: set the cloaking level, field stability and energy budget for a ring of drifting shapes, then sweep a rotating radar line across them and watch detection sensitivity flicker cloaked objects back into partial view.
This 2D companion trades the orbiting Three.js scene of the original for a flat radar-style view built to make the cloaking mechanics legible: each drifting shape carries an opacity of 1 − cloaking level while active, a field-stability slider jitters the boundary ring, an energy slider drives the glow of each object's cloak field, and a rotating detection sweep — controlled by its own sensitivity slider — periodically flashes cloaked shapes back toward full visibility as it crosses them, making the trade-off between staying hidden and staying stable directly readable on a single canvas.
