Watch a photon bounce between two mirrors in a light clock at rest and in one moving at a fraction of light speed. The moving clock's photon must travel a longer diagonal path, so its ticks fall behind exactly by the Lorentz factor gamma — the same time dilation math as the 3D version, shown here as a clean 2D canvas diagram with twin analog dials.
