⚡ Relativity of Simultaneity — Lorentz Time Offset (2D)

2D dual-frame train-and-lightning simulation of the relativity of simultaneity: two events simultaneous in the rest frame S occur at different times in a boosted frame S', computed with the real Lorentz transformation t'=gamma(t-vx/c^2).

A 2D dual-frame Canvas2D simulation of the relativity of simultaneity: two lightning-strike events happen at the same instant in a rest frame S, but the real Lorentz transformation t'=γ(t-vx/c²) gives them different times in a frame S' moving at velocity v. Adjust the velocity v/c and the event separation distance to watch the time offset Δt'=γvΔx/c² grow, and see which event happens first in the boosted frame.
