🌈 Quantum Demultiplexer
Interactive quantum demultiplexer: a stream of single photons on wavelength-multiplexed channels enters a shared fiber and is routed by a wavelength-selective grating to per-channel output ports. Push channels together to watch cross-talk errors appear.
Watch a receiver-side quantum demultiplexer sort a stream of single photons back into separate channels. Several wavelength-multiplexed channels share one input fiber; a dispersive grating measures each photon's wavelength (with a fixed device resolution) and routes it to the output port whose channel center is nearest. Pull the channel-separation slider down toward the grating's resolution and watch photons start landing on the wrong port — tracked live as per-channel routing accuracy and total cross-talk errors.
