3D radar-multipath simulator: watch a signal bend off a reflecting wall's real height before reaching a real 3D target, tracing the bent path live and plotting the phantom 'UFO' return exactly where time-of-flight and angle-of-arrival place it.
The 2D radar-scope view of this mechanic shows range and bearing ghosting; this 3D version adds the dimension that actually governs whether a multipath ghost forms at all — height. A reflecting wall of finite, real height only redirects the radar's signal toward a real target when the geometric bounce, traced with the image-source method, actually lands within the wall's physical extent: below its top edge and within its width. Raise the target above the wall, or shrink the wall, and the bent path no longer intersects solid material, so the phantom vanishes — exactly the altitude cutoff that makes real multipath clutter cluster near ridgelines and skylines rather than appearing everywhere.
