This 3D companion to the flat bearing-pressure chart renders the same soil-mechanics math as an actual deforming ground surface. Three tripod-pattern footpads press into a mesh that sinks by exactly the elastic settlement depth predicted for the claimed mass, footpad contact area and soil type — exaggerated for visibility, but proportionally accurate. Orbit the scene to see how the same claimed craft leaves a barely-visible dimple in gravel, a plausible shallow bowl in lawn turf, or a catastrophic sinkhole in wet mud: the physical consequence of "the same mass, the same pads" is never the same mark twice, because real bearing capacity depends entirely on what's actually underfoot.
