🧯 3D Safety Incident Response Simulation
A genuine 3D hazmat incident-response model: a Gaussian hazard plume spreads from a leak source and drifts downwind across a rendered facility, while on-site workers either evacuate the danger radius in time or accumulate dose — tune containment, evacuation radius, response delay and wind speed and watch the outcome change.
The original 2D page for this id was an unbuilt placeholder (no engine — text-only "coming soon" stub), so this 3D companion implements the real mechanic its title describes instead of porting non-existent math: a simplified Gaussian-plume hazmat dispersion model. A hazard radius σ(t) grows linearly from the leak until the response phase engages, then grows at a throttled rate set by the containment-effectiveness slider; its center drifts downwind at the set wind speed. Concentration at any point falls off as a 2D Gaussian around that drifting center. Workers inside the evacuation radius start moving out once the evacuation order goes out (partway through the response delay) and stop accumulating dose once clear; everyone else keeps taking dose proportional to local concentration for as long as the plume reaches them. The whole incident replays on a 60-simulated-minute cycle so you can see the outcome of a parameter change play out.
