Music Sound Design Simulation (3D)

A real Web Audio synthesizer — oscillator, biquad filter, feedback delay line and an algorithmic convolution reverb — rendered live as a 3D radial spectrum ring and an echo-depth waveform ribbon whose spacing and decay are driven directly by the delay and feedback you set.

This 3D companion turns the 2D sound-design simulation into a real, playable Web Audio synthesizer. An oscillator generates the chosen waveform, feeds a true biquad lowpass filter, and then splits into a feedback delay line (a real echo equation, y[n] = x[n] + feedback·y[n−D]) and an algorithmic convolution reverb built from a synthetically generated decaying-noise impulse response. Every visual element — the radial spectrum ring, the fundamental-frequency marker, and the echo-depth waveform ribbon receding into the third dimension — is driven directly by the live analyser data of that real audio graph, not by pre-baked animation. The spacing between waveform echoes along the depth axis is set by the actual delay time slider, and how many are visible (and how fast they fade) is set by the actual feedback amount, so what you see always matches what you hear.

⚙ Under the hood

A real Web Audio synthesis chain (oscillator → biquad filter → feedback delay line + convolution reverb → analyser) drives a live 3D radial spectrum and an echo-depth waveform ribbon.
