This 2D companion strips the pulsar lighthouse effect down to its underlying geometry: a rotating star with a tilted magnetic (and radio-beam) axis, a fixed observer direction, and the real ρ(φ) beaming formula — cos ρ = cos α·cos ζ + sin α·sin ζ·cos φ — driving both the on-screen flash and a scrolling light-curve strip, so the spin-rate, beam-width and magnetic-obliquity controls show exactly how each parameter reshapes the pulse train an observer would record.
