Kick Crystal Physics (2D)

A faceted rigid body bounces under gravity, restitution and mass — the same collision-impulse physics as the 3D scene, on a flat canvas you can drag and kick.

This 2D companion strips the 3D crystal-bounce scene down to a flat canvas rigid body: a faceted polygon falls under gravity, reflects off the floor and side walls with a restitution you control, and spawns impact sparks when it lands hard enough. Drag it to throw it, or hit Kick for an instant impulse — the same momentum-transfer idea as the 3D version, just easier to read without a camera to orbit.

⚙ Under the hood

2D rigid-body bounce lab: gravity, restitution, mass and a torque term from off-centre contact drive a faceted crystal's fall, bounce and drag-throw, with a live velocity/energy/impact readout.
