Kick Asteroid: 2D Launch Force, Angle & Bounce Physics (2D)

2D side-view companion to the 3D asteroid-kick lab: launch an asteroid with adjustable kick force and angle across four gravity fields, and watch it bounce with tunable restitution while live telemetry tracks velocity, range and bounce count.

This 2D companion strips the 3D orbit-camera asteroid range down to a flat side-view range so the same kick physics reads more directly: kick force and mass set launch speed, launch angle and gravity set the parabola, and once the asteroid lands, its coefficient of restitution and horizontal friction damp each successive bounce until it settles — with velocity, altitude, range, mission time and bounce count all live on the telemetry strip.
