Induced Polarization Chargeability Survey (2D)

2D induced-polarization survey lab: a Wenner electrode array sweeps a profile over a buried chargeable body, a sensitivity-weighted model computes apparent resistivity and apparent chargeability in real time, and a time-domain decay curve shows how integral chargeability is actually measured in the field.

This 2D companion replaces the 3D version's generic mining-facility animation with the actual measurement the title promises: a Wenner electrode array that you sweep along a surface profile over a hidden chargeable body, computing apparent resistivity from the standard geometric factor and apparent chargeability from a depth/offset sensitivity kernel, then switching the current off to show the exponential voltage decay that field instruments integrate into the reported chargeability (mV/V). Adjust electrode spacing, target depth, intrinsic chargeability, resistivity contrast and decay time constant, then run a profile survey to watch the anomaly appear exactly the way a real IP crew finds one.

⚙ Under the hood

Sweep a Wenner electrode array over a buried chargeable body and watch apparent resistivity, apparent chargeability and the time-domain voltage-decay curve compute in real time from a genuine sensitivity-weighted geophysical model.
