Scalar Field on a Lattice (2D)
2D top-down Canvas companion to the 3D Klein-Gordon lattice field simulation: same wave speed, mass² and damping physics, rendered as a live colour heatmap.
This 2D companion drives the same finite-difference Klein-Gordon field equation as the 3D version, but renders the field φ as a flat colour heatmap read top-down instead of a tilted 3D surface — the same wave propagation and mass-driven clumping into particle-like lumps, just easier to read at a glance.
⚙ Under the hood
Klein-Gordon scalar field on a 64×64 lattice, integrated with a stable sub-stepped finite-difference scheme; the same wave-speed, mass² and damping controls as the 3D original.
