🧪 Bouncing Balls Physics: Momentum (2D)

A flat Canvas 2D ball-pit built around true mass-weighted elastic collisions: every ball-ball impact conserves total momentum exactly, with live sliders for gravity, wall restitution, collision elasticity and ball count.

This 2D companion strips the 3D ball-pit down to a flat Canvas view built to make momentum conservation legible: every disk carries a mass proportional to its area, ball-ball impacts are resolved with the full impulse-based elastic-collision formula along the contact normal, and a live readout tracks total kinetic energy, total system momentum and the collision rate so the effect of the elasticity and gravity sliders is directly visible instead of implied by a rotating camera.
