Atom Interferometer Fringe Diagram (2D)
Interactive 2D diagram of an atom interferometer: split a cloud of cold atoms with a pi/2-pi-pi/2 laser pulse sequence drawn as a flattened path diagram, and read out the interference-fringe phase shift as you tune applied acceleration and rotation rate.
This is the 2D-native counterpart to the 3D atom interferometer simulator. Instead of orbiting a rendered atom cloud in a beam tube, it draws the identical π/2–π–π/2 pulse sequence flattened into a path diagram: atoms split into two colored paths at the first pulse, bend back together at the second, and land on output port A or B at the third — with the same phase formula, driven by the same acceleration and rotation sliders, as the 3D version.
