Perishable Supply Chain: Spoilage & Transit Simulator

Ship produce from farms to a distribution hub to stores by truck, train, or drone and watch a real exponential spoilage model erode freshness as temperature and transit time add up, with live quality, waste, and revenue readouts.

A fleet of shipments moves fresh produce from farms through a distribution hub to stores, and every crate's freshness decays according to a real exponential spoilage model driven by refrigeration temperature and elapsed transit time. Switch between truck, train, and drone transport to trade off route speed against per-trip capacity, drag the temperature and distance sliders to see how quickly the exponential curve erodes quality, and watch live readouts for average fleet freshness, spoilage loss rate, delivered shipment count, and net revenue after waste. The same decay law — Q(t) = 100·e^(−kTt) — is the one cold-chain logistics planners use to size refrigeration budgets and choose transport modes for perishable freight.
