🕸️ Spider Web & Dew: Condensation (2D)

A Canvas2D dew-condensation lab: droplets nucleate on a spider web when the air cools toward its Magnus dew point, grow while supersaturated, coalesce on contact, and slide off once gravity beats surface tension.

This 2D companion drives the same condensation idea as the 3D scene through the Magnus dew-point formula: droplets nucleate on the web's radial and spiral threads whenever the air temperature drops below the computed dew point, grow at a rate set by how far below it they are, merge when two droplets touch on the same thread, and — once heavy enough — slide down wind-facing strands and drip off, all tracked live in the side panel.

⚙ Under the hood

Magnus-formula dew point drives droplet nucleation and growth on a procedurally drawn web; coalescence merges nearby drops by volume, and gravity plus a wind slider pulls heavy drops off downward-facing strands.
