This 2D companion swaps the 3D scene's decorative ocean for the real mechanic implied by "Alien Ocean": a logistic Lotka–Volterra predator–prey system, integrated with RK4, drives the population of glowing plankton and their hunters, while a three-wave Gerstner-style surface disperses them and a day/night toggle changes hunting efficiency.

⚙ Under the hood

RK4-integrated logistic Lotka-Volterra predator-prey equations, coupled to water temperature (Q10 metabolic scaling) and wind-driven wave dispersal; individual agents drift on a three-wave surface and are spawned/retired to track the two population curves live.
