This 2D companion to the 3D aquarium replaces its single wander-and-feed behavior with a real Reynolds boid model: separation, alignment and cohesion are exposed as independent sliders so you can watch a loose scatter of fish tighten into a coordinated school, or push separation to zero and watch them clump. Dropping food overrides the school forces locally, pulling nearby fish out of formation while the rest of the tank keeps schooling — a clear top-down view of how local rules produce global group behavior without any fish following a leader.
