This simulator draws the RNA interference pathway as a flat schematic: precursor RNA enters from the left, gets diced into small duplexes, loads into RISC, and RISC-guided complexes drift right to scan a pool of mRNA molecules. Depending on how well the guide strand matches each target, the mRNA is either cleaved outright or its translation is silently repressed. Adjust guide–target complementarity, Dicer processing rate and RISC loading rate, or switch between siRNA and miRNA mode, to see how each shifts the balance between cleavage and repression.
