🧪 MIC & Kill Curve

Antibiotic time-kill and MIC simulator: a bacterial population grows by real logistic growth while a Hill-equation Emax pharmacodynamic model converts antibiotic concentration into a genuine kill rate, so you can sweep concentration and empirically find the minimum inhibitory concentration from the live dynamics.

This simulator couples real logistic bacterial growth with a genuine Hill-equation Emax pharmacodynamic model: the antibiotic's kill rate rises sigmoidally with concentration, saturating at Emax and crossing half-maximal effect at EC50, exactly as real dose-response curves for antibiotics are characterized. Sweep the concentration slider and watch the live time-kill curve (log₁₀ CFU/mL vs. time) switch between sub-MIC regrowth to a suppressed steady state and above-MIC exponential decline toward eradication — then compare it against the closed-form minimum inhibitory concentration the panel derives from your growth-rate, Emax, EC50 and Hill-coefficient settings.
