This simulator sends a cohort of pH-responsive microcapsules along a modeled gastrointestinal tract, dissolving each capsule's enteric shell only once the surrounding pH crosses a tunable trigger, while the bacteria inside decay in viability at very different rates depending on whether the shell still shields them. Adjust shell thickness, coating trigger pH, total transit time and the strain's own acid tolerance to see how each design choice trades protection against a wasted, never-released dose — with live readouts of shell integrity, mean viability, and the fraction of the cohort actually delivering a viable dose to the colon.
