🧪 Medical Consciousness Transfer Simulation
Interactive 3D model of the transfer step of mind uploading: a scanned connectome streams from a biological brain to a digital substrate through a noisy, bandwidth-limited channel. Tune bandwidth, signal-to-noise ratio and lossy compression and watch Shannon-Hartley capacity, transfer progress and reconstruction fidelity diverge in real time.
Once a mind has been scanned, it still has to be moved: a connectome's worth of neural state data streaming from a biological brain into a digital substrate through a channel that, like any real channel, has a hard capacity set by bandwidth and noise. This simulator streams a fixed connectome payload across that link at the live Shannon–Hartley capacity, letting compression trade transfer speed for reconstruction accuracy. Tune bandwidth, signal-to-noise ratio, lossy compression and connectome detail to see channel capacity, transfer progress and reconstruction fidelity pull apart in real time — and why a transfer that "completes" is not the same as a transfer that arrives intact.
This simulation explores the theoretical concept of transferring human consciousness. It likely demonstrates how information related to a person's mind and memories could be transferred to another substrate.
