An outbreak isn't just an epidemic curve — it's a curve that a supply chain has to keep up with. This simulator pairs a coupled eight-region SIR model with a hub-and-spoke logistics network: infections rising in any region drive real medical-supply demand, a limited daily shipping capacity has to be split across all eight regions by one of three allocation strategies, and every region that runs out of stock before its next shipment racks up a stockout-day. Turn up the transmission rate to see how fast an outbreak spreads region-to-region, dial in travel restrictions to slow that spread, and compare how equal-split, proportional and greedy-triage allocation strategies perform under the same shipping-capacity budget.
