This simulation turns the bioethics doctrine of informed consent into a navigable 3D space: capacity, disclosure and voluntariness form three axes of a cube, a clinical encounter is a single point inside it, and a glowing corner shell marks the region where consent is ethically valid. Because the three conditions combine by a weakest-link rule rather than by averaging, a patient encounter with excellent disclosure and full voluntariness can still fail — and the simulation flags exactly which condition broke down — if the patient lacks decision-making capacity, exactly as a hospital ethics committee would assess it. Five real clinical presets (rushed disclosure, impaired capacity, coercion, unconscious trauma, textbook shared decision-making) plus an emergency-doctrine toggle let you explore how professional responsibility and patient autonomy trade off across realistic scenarios.

⚙ Under the hood

This simulation challenges you to make critical decisions in complex healthcare scenarios, forcing you to confront the ethical dilemmas faced by doctors and patients alike. Explore the nuances of informed consent, patient autonomy, and professional responsibility within a realistic medical environment.
