Hemorrhagic Shock Resuscitation Simulator
Real-time emergency medicine simulator: manage a trauma patient's hemorrhagic shock with oxygen, IV fluids, blood transfusion and hemorrhage control before the golden hour runs out, driven by a real cardiovascular shock-physiology model.
This simulation models the cardiovascular physiology of a trauma patient in hemorrhagic shock in real time: a mass-balance model tracks circulating blood volume and oxygen-carrying capacity separately, while heart rate, blood pressure, SpO₂, respiratory rate and consciousness are derived from a baroreceptor compensation/decompensation curve exactly like the clinical hemorrhage-class staging used in trauma bays. You choose a starting severity, then manage the case with oxygen, hemorrhage control, crystalloid boluses and a limited supply of blood units, watching the 3D patient's perfusion color, an active bleed and a growing blood pool respond to every decision, all against a countdown "golden window" before the case is lost.
This simulation allows users to practice critical decision-making skills in a simulated emergency medical environment, focusing on rapid assessment and treatment of critically ill patients.
