Give a virtual patient an IV bolus of drug and watch it distribute in real time between a central compartment (blood and well-perfused organs) and a peripheral compartment (muscle and fat), exactly as real two-compartment pharmacokinetic models describe drugs like lidocaine, thiopental, digoxin and vancomycin. Each drug molecule is simulated individually with competing exponential hazards for redistribution and elimination, and the live concentration graph shows the classic biexponential plasma curve — a fast alpha distribution phase followed by a slower beta elimination phase — while sliders for the three rate constants (k12, k21, k10) let you see how each one reshapes the curve and the analytically-computed terminal half-life.
