This is the 2D counterpart to the 3D biphasic cartilage explant simulator. It integrates the identical 1D pore-pressure diffusion equation and fatigue-damage law on the same depth grid, but instead of an instanced cylinder it draws the mathematics directly: a live pore-pressure and solid-stress profile against depth, a scrolling depth-versus-time pressure heatmap that reveals the whole consolidation history at a glance, and a readout strip chart of fluid load support, peak solid stress and surface fibrillation over time.
