🌊 3D Sine Wave Surface Plotter
3D Sine Wave Surface Plotter – the 2D plotter's exact y = A·sin(Bx) formula extended across a second axis into a real height-mapped 3D surface you can orbit, with live amplitude, x-frequency and z-frequency controls. MySimulator.uk
The 2D original plots y = A·sin(Bx) along a single horizontal axis, with amplitude A stretching the curve vertically and frequency B compressing or stretching its period. This 3D companion keeps that identical term — the same A·sin(Bx) — and multiplies it by cos(Cz) across a second spatial axis, producing a real height-mapped surface: y(x, z) = A·sin(Bx + φ)·cos(Cz). Setting the z-frequency C to zero collapses the surface back onto the exact 2D curve, extruded straight along Z — a direct, verifiable link to the original math. A travelling-wave toggle animates the phase φ over time, and the live readout panel reports the x-period (λx = 2π / B) and the sampled height under the cursor as you move across the surface.
