🧮 3D Linear Algebra Visualizer
Drag a real 3×3 matrix's nine entries in WebGL and watch a cubic lattice, the three basis vectors and a unit cube deform live — the exact linear map from the 2D original, extended one dimension further, with determinant, trace and volume scale computed as you go.
A cubic lattice rendered in real Three.js/WebGL, transformed by a live 3×3 matrix A — the direct 3D analogue of the 2D original's 2×2 matrix acting on a flat grid. Every lattice point p=(x,y,z) gets a line drawn to its image A·p, using the identical row-by-row multiplication the 2D version used for x'=a11x+a12y. Three colored arrows track A·i, A·j and A·k — where the basis vectors land — and a yellow wireframe cube tracks the image of the unit cube, whose enclosed volume equals |det(A)|. Determinant, trace and an orientation indicator (preserved vs. flipped, exactly when det(A) changes sign) are computed live via the standard 3×3 cofactor expansion as you drag any of the nine sliders.
