This 2D canvas explorer renders the Mandelbrot set and three Julia set presets with smooth escape-time coloring, letting you zoom to the cursor with the mouse wheel and pan by dragging, exactly like the 3D shader-driven version but computed pixel-by-pixel on the CPU. Switch fractal type from the mode grid, drag the custom Julia sliders to sculpt your own set live, and tune iteration count, color saturation and palette flow speed to see how each changes the infinite detail at the boundary.
