QLED Efficiency Droop (2D): ABC Rate Equation Rise Time & Droop Curve

Interactive 2D quantum-dot LED simulator: watch the injected carrier density climb toward steady state as a real time-domain solution of the ABC rate equation, then read the resulting internal-quantum-efficiency droop directly off a swept J-IQE curve.

This is the 2D counterpart of the quantum-dot LED efficiency-droop simulator: the same ABC rate equation — trap-assisted (A·n), radiative (B·n²) and Auger (C·n³) recombination — but solved and drawn directly instead of shown through a 3D particle scene. A time-domain panel numerically integrates the carrier-density ODE with 4th-order Runge–Kutta and plots the literal rise of n(t) from zero toward its steady-state value, alongside a live stacked bar showing how the three recombination channels split the current at each instant. A second panel sweeps the drive current density on a log axis and re-solves the steady state at every point, tracing the complete internal-quantum-efficiency droop curve — rising at low current, then falling as Auger recombination takes over — with a marker showing exactly where your chosen operating point sits. Tune current density, Auger coefficient, trap coefficient or quantum-dot size and watch every view update from the same governing equation.
