Fireclay Kiln Firing Schedule (2D)

A 2D ceramics-firing lab: set the ramp rate, soak temperature and soak time, then watch dehydroxylation and Avrami-kinetics mullitization play out on a live temperature/conversion chart.

This 2D companion turns the 3D plant tour into a readable firing-schedule lab: temperature climbs at a set ramp rate to a soak point, holds there while an Avrami-type conversion model turns kaolinite into mullite, then cools — with dehydroxylation, mullite fraction, mass loss (LOI) and shrinkage all tracked live on a temperature/conversion chart instead of an animated factory scene.

⚙ Under the hood

Canvas2D kiln lab: a ramp-soak-cool schedule drives an Arrhenius-rate Avrami transformation for mullitization, with a linear dehydroxylation model above 450 °C feeding live mass-loss and shrinkage readouts.
