🧪 Automation Robotic Process Automation Simulation
Interactive 3D simulation of a robotic process automation (RPA) bot fleet: software bots pull tasks from an arrival queue, process them, and route a fraction to human review, with live queueing-theory readouts (queue length, utilization, throughput).
Robotic process automation replaces a human clicking through a rule-based workflow with a software bot that does the same clicks, reads and typing — reliably and fast, until something on screen changes. This simulator models a fleet of RPA bots as a live M/M/c queue: tasks arrive at a configurable rate, a configurable number of bots pull and process them in parallel at a configurable speed, and a configurable share of finished tasks get flagged as exceptions and routed to a human review desk instead of completing automatically. Watch the queue grow or drain in real time, and read off the exact queueing-theory numbers — utilization, throughput, offered load — that a real automation team uses to size a bot fleet.
This simulation demonstrates Robotic Process Automation (RPA), showcasing how software robots automate repetitive, rule-based tasks traditionally performed by humans.
