🧫 3D Stem Cell Differentiation (Waddington Landscape)
A literal 3D height-field terrain — the pluripotent peak and fate valleys rendered as real extruded geometry — where cell particles roll downhill under gradient force and noise, exactly as the 2D original computes it, now with true depth and a free-orbiting camera.
This is a genuine 3D port of the 2D Waddington-landscape simulation: the identical scalar height field h(x,y) — a Gaussian pluripotent peak, 2–5 Gaussian fate valleys, a gentle downhill slope and a signaling-bias tilt — is now extruded as real terrain geometry instead of a flat colour map. Cell particles still integrate the exact same overdamped Langevin dynamics (gradient descent plus Gaussian noise) ported line-for-line from the original engine; only the rendering changes, from a 2D canvas height-as-colour encoding to literal 3D elevation you can orbit around.
