🧪 Theater Stage Design Simulation

Design a theater's stage and raked seating bank and see the sightline geometry that decides it: adjust stage depth, proscenium height, row spacing and riser height, and watch which seats get a clear view over the head in front, computed from the real architectural C-value formula.

Designing a theater's stage is a geometry problem before it is anything else: every seat in the house needs an unobstructed line of sight to the focal point on stage. This simulator builds a real proscenium stage and a raked seating bank in 3D and applies the architectural sightline C-value formula used by real theater designers — adjust stage depth, the focal point height, row spacing and riser height, and watch each row of seats turn green (clear view, adequate clearance over the head in front) or red (blocked) as the geometry changes. Live readouts track how many seats are blocked, the worst clearance value in the house, and the back row's eye height and rake angle, and an auto-solve button finds the constant riser height that guarantees the standard 60 mm minimum clearance at every row.

⚙ Under the hood

This simulation focuses on designing the physical layout and configuration of a theatrical stage. It explores elements like stage dimensions, sightlines, and audience perspective.
