Oil Well Decline Curve & Reservoir Recovery (2D)

2D decline-curve companion: the real Arps exponential/hyperbolic/harmonic production-decline equations drive a live rate-time curve, a cumulative-recovery plot and a semi-log economic-limit readout for the same offshore well.

This 2D companion trades the 3D oil rig's rotating rig geometry for the equations reservoir engineers actually use to forecast a well: the Arps exponential/hyperbolic/harmonic decline model. A side panel exposes the initial rate, initial decline rate, hyperbolic exponent and economic-limit rate, a time cursor scrubs or auto-plays through the well's life, and three linked panes — a shaded rate-time curve, a cumulative-recovery curve and a semi-log rate plot — show the same production forecast from the three views a petroleum engineer would actually read it in.
