🧪 Virtual Reality Vr Development Simulation
Interactive VR development simulator: tune motion-to-photon latency, display refresh rate and pose prediction, and watch world-lock error and simulator-sickness risk change live as a delayed headset render swims against the true head pose.
Every VR development team fights the same enemy: the delay between a player's real head movement and the moment the corresponding pixels reach their eye. This simulator turns that abstract render-pipeline budget into something you can see. Drag the motion-to-photon latency, display refresh rate and head-turn speed, and watch a third-person rig show the true head orientation (cyan) pull away from the delayed, frame-quantized rendered orientation (magenta) — with a live picture-in-picture inset showing exactly what the headset lens would present at that instant. Toggle pose prediction, the technique every production engine uses to extrapolate ahead by the measured angular velocity, and watch the world-lock error collapse back toward zero even at latencies that would otherwise cause simulator sickness.
This simulation demonstrates the process of developing virtual reality applications. Users can interact with a simplified development environment and learn basic VR programming concepts.
