🧪 Ember Drift: 2D Thermal Field & Cinder Clustering
2D companion to Ember Drift: cinders swirl through a pull + orbit + turbulence force field and cluster near a warm core, with Drift, Spark, Glow and Density controls plus a live readout panel.
This 2D companion drives the same force-field idea as the 3D Ember Drift — inward pull, orbital swirl and layered sine turbulence acting on a cloud of particles — on a flat canvas instead of a Three.js scene. Each cinder gets a radial glow drawn with additive blending, respawns once it drifts past the field radius, and speeds up in hue and brightness as its velocity grows, so the same "warm cluster gathers near the core" behaviour is visible without a GPU-heavy renderer.
2D Canvas particle field: inward pull, tangential swirl and sine-based turbulence combine per-frame into each cinder's acceleration, with pointer attraction and a radius-based respawn cycle.
