Bee Immune System Simulator
Two-scene simulation of how honey bees fight infection: haemocytes hunting pathogens in the haemolymph (predator-prey kinetics) alongside a hive where workers detect and remove infected brood cells (hygienic behaviour / social immunity).
Two linked scenes visualise how a honey bee colony survives without antibodies: haemocytes hunting pathogens in the haemolymph on the left, and hygienic worker bees detecting and removing infected brood cells in the hive on the right. Adjust infection intensity, immune response speed and colony hygienic behaviour to see how cellular and social immunity interact.
Dual-scene immune simulation: haemocytes hunt and engulf pathogens in the haemolymph under predator-prey kinetics (dP/dt = rP(1-P/Pmax) - kHP), while a linked hive scene shows worker bees detecting and removing infected brood cells (hygienic behaviour / social immunity).
