Run a small historic mine in cutaway: drill boreholes to estimate a hidden ore vein, dig drifts and stopes mechanically, keep air (Atkinson law) and water (Darcy/Thiem) in balance, haul with a locomotive limited by adhesion on the gradient, and balance the ledger.
