🛥️ Hovercraft Physics Lab: Cushion Pressure, Lift Fans, Skirt Leakage and Hump Speed
Drive a 42-tonne civil/rescue air-cushion ferry and solve its physics: the lift-fan/cushion operating point (p = W/A, leakage Q = Cd h Pc sqrt(2p/rho)), the air-spring heave frequency, cell-based pitch/roll stability and plough-in, the Havelock wave-resistance hump of a moving pressure patch, and 3-DOF drift on water, mud, ice and grass. Unlike the VTOL, Leidenfrost and jet-hover sims already in the catalogue, this is a fan-curve, skirt-leakage and pressure-patch wave-resistance study of a ground-effect vehicle.
