Strain Gauge Sensing via Wheatstone Bridge (2D)

2D side-view simulator of a bonded strain gauge on a bending cantilever beam: watch the beam flex under a real cantilever bending formula, the gauge patch glow with signal strength, and a live Wheatstone bridge diamond and oscilloscope trace show the resulting output voltage.

This 2D companion drives the same cantilever bending and Wheatstone bridge equations as the 3D lab: applied force bends a fixed-end beam by the standard M·c/I formula, the bonded gauge patch near the root reads that local strain and glows brighter with the resulting signal, and a bridge diamond plus a scrolling oscilloscope trace show the output voltage in real time. Switch between static, cyclic and impact loading to see how the trace responds differently to each.
