Steampunk Gear Mechanism Interaction (2D)

A top-down Canvas 2D redraw of the steampunk gear train: six meshing gears follow real tooth-count ratios, two eccentric cams drive pistons through a crank-slider stroke, and timed valves vent steam puffs — the same mechanics as the 3D scene, seen from directly above.

This 2D companion redraws the same six-gear steampunk train from directly above: each gear's angular speed is set by the inverse of its tooth count relative to the 42-tooth driver, neighboring gears always spin opposite ways, and two eccentric cams convert that rotation into a piston stroke exactly like the 3D scene's crank mechanism, while a fixed-interval timer vents steam puffs from the pipework independent of drive speed.
