A country's energy security rests on how many independent routes its power and fuel can travel, and how much buffer exists when one of them fails. This simulation models a national grid fed by domestic generation plus three import routes (two pipelines and an LNG terminal), backed by a strategic reserve. Shift the import-dependency slider, resize the reserve, and disrupt a supplier to see how quickly reliability degrades — and how a diversified, well-buffered grid rides out the same shock that would black out a concentrated one.
