🧪 Energy Antimatter Energy Simulation

Run an antimatter production-and-storage plant: feed antiprotons from a simulated accelerator into a magnetic trap, watch containment leaks waste them, and trigger a controlled release to see how the recovered annihilation energy compares to the energy it cost to make them in the first place.

Antimatter annihilation releases more energy per kilogram than any other known process, so it is tempting to picture it as a future fuel. This simulator builds the whole production-to-power chain instead: a particle accelerator manufactures antiprotons at a rate you set, a 3D magnetic (Penning-style) trap stores them — visibly leaking particles into its walls when the containment field is too weak — and a "trigger controlled release" button dumps the survivors into a collector to recover their annihilation energy on demand. A live energy ledger tracks what was spent making the antimatter against what storage losses wasted and what the release actually recovered, converging every run on the same real-world conclusion: producing antimatter costs on the order of a billion times more energy than annihilating it gives back, so it functions as an extraordinarily energy-dense storage and delivery medium, not as a net energy source.

⚙ Under the hood

This simulation explores the theoretical potential of antimatter as an energy source. It demonstrates the immense energy released during annihilation reactions between matter and antimatter, highlighting the challenges associated with its storage and utilization.
