Biomass Energy Plant Simulator
Interactive biomass power plant simulator: feed wood pellets into a combustion furnace, tune feed rate, moisture content and cogeneration mode, and watch how they change power output, efficiency and CO2 emissions in real time.
This simulator visualizes a biomass power plant converting organic fuel into usable energy. Pellets drop from a hopper into a combustion furnace, where the visualized flame intensity and a spinning turbine track the resulting power output. Feed rate controls how much fuel enters the furnace, moisture content models the real energy penalty of wet biomass, and the fuel-type control switches between wood pellets, agricultural residue and biogas-equivalent feedstock, each with a different energy density. A cogeneration toggle shows the efficiency gap between electricity-only combustion (20–40%) and combined heat-and-power operation (up to 90%), while a stack-exhaust particle stream grows or shrinks with wasted heat and biogenic CO₂ output.
Feed wood pellets, straw or biogas-equivalent fuel into a combustion furnace and see how feed rate, moisture content and cogeneration mode change power output, efficiency and biogenic CO2 emissions in real time.
