TENG Circuit & Charge Scope (2D)

2D circuit-and-charge model of a sliding-mode triboelectric nanogenerator: watch the induced charge, live oscilloscope traces of voltage and current, and the Q-vs-displacement hysteresis loop, all solved frame by frame from the TENG equivalent-circuit equations.

This 2D simulator solves the same triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) equivalent-circuit equations as the 3D model, but built from scratch as a flat, circuit-first view: a schematic strip diagram shows the sliding electrode uncovering fixed bound charge, a scrolling oscilloscope traces voltage and current live, and a charge-vs-displacement hysteresis loop reveals how the RC lag between the electrode's motion and the induced charge shapes the harvested power — a relationship that is awkward to see in a 3D perspective but reads immediately on a 2D plot. Pick a material pair, drive the slide at different frequencies and stroke lengths, and sweep the load resistance to find the true impedance-matched optimum.
